Midwifery Champions

In Florida, Jennie Joseph, a licensed CPM, is saving lives by reducing health disparities. She operates a licensed birth center where she provides ‘easy access’ prenatal care to all women regardless of their ability to pay. They help women to access the community resources they need and focuses on prenatal bonding through respect, support, education, encouragement and empowerment. Alabama would benefit enormously from her model of care.
